Pieter-Jan Leemen is a Partner in our Banking & Finance practice, bringing over 12 years of experience advising a diverse range of clients, including private equity and debt funds, financial institutions, corporates, and government bodies, on a broad spectrum of Belgian and international financial transactions.

His expertise includes syndicated lending, acquisition financing, project finance, restructurings, and real estate financing, guiding clients through the entire financing process—from initial structuring to closing.

Career

Before joining Lydian, he worked as a banking and finance lawyer at an international law firm and later as a counsel in the banking and finance team of a leading independent Benelux firm in Brussels.

Education

Pieter-Jan holds a law degree from KU Leuven (2012) and a post graduate degree in corporate finance from the same university (2015).
