Jonathan provides strategic advice to insurer clients on claims management, risk mitigation, and product development, including drafting technical aspects of policy wordings. He also manages and mentors three specialist large loss lawyers, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, commercially-focused legal services.

Career

Jonathan qualified via the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, combining degree-level legal studies with extensive practical experience in litigation. He gained specialist training under a nationally recognised catastrophic loss specialist and is one of the few lawyers to have defended a case in the Supreme Court.

His career includes advising insurer clients on:

• High-value, catastrophic personal injury claims, including diffuse axonal injury and complex orthopaedic cases.

• Large loss litigation strategy, claims assessment, and risk management.

• Product development and technical drafting for insurance policies.
