Career
Rachel studied Law at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle. She joined Stowe Family Law as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2002, qualified in 2004, and became a Partner in October 2007. In April 2020, she was promoted to Regional Director for the Midlands and North, joining the firm’s Executive Team, and now oversees a team of over 100 lawyers and legal assistants across the region.
She specialises in all aspects of family law, with a particular focus on complex divorce finances, high-value capital cases, business and trust structures (domestic and international), and children arrangements following relationship breakdowns.

Rachel is a member of Resolution and a Resolution accredited specialist in complex financial remedies and private children matters. She is also an ambassador for Women in the Law, a non-profit women’s networking organisation aimed at inspiring and supporting the next generation of lawyers and women in business.
Education

Leisure
Outside of work, Rachel is married and has young twins who keep her busy. She enjoys most forms of exercise and being outdoors. Rachel is also a keen cook and baker, often sharing her cakes with the team at the Leeds office.
