Career

Julio Caballero leads the Labor and Social Security Law practice at Mitrani Caballero and is widely recognized for his expertise in employment, collective bargaining, and social security matters. With extensive experience advising on labor and social security issues in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across countries such as Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, and the United States, Julio is a trusted advisor to multinational clients. He has served as a consultant for the International Labor Organization and various business associations in Argentina and actively participates in collective bargaining negotiations across multiple industries.

Before co-founding the firm, Julio was a partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005–2007), labor law director at Techint Group (1987–2005), and an officer at the National Labour Courts (1980–1987). A frequent lecturer and published author, Julio is consistently recognized by Chambers Latin America, Who’s Who Legal, and Best Lawyers as a leading specialist in labor and employment law.
